Student Union & Class Representatives
The College has in place a Head of Student Affairs who attempts to form a student union and class representative for each course subject with the students themselves selecting representatives within each other. Regular meetings take place with the Head of Student Affairs and class representatives. The students have the opportunity to convey the feelings of their peers in a formal way with College staff; discussing issues, matters of interest and student feedback in general. If you are interested in being involved please contact the Head of Student Affairs declaring your interest.
College Organised Outings
LCC organises a College outing for all of its students once a year, usually at the end of the summer term, subject to demand of course. We usually visit a historical place in the UK or the seaside for example. In addition, some lecturers may arrange outings connected to their courses at their own discretion, but sponsored by the College.
Sports Facilities
The local area around the college has leisure centres with facilities for gym, swimming, table tennis, badminton etc. A modern sports centre is within walking distance from the college.
